Countries as anime characters, As Tokyo prepares for the 2020 Olympics, people are already excited about it. A few Japanese artists have come together to create an unofficial promotional campaign for the event, taking inspiration from something they are very passionate about anime. They have reimagined the participating countries as cool battle-ready characters, with very Japanese designs. Each “competitor” is created with its own culture, history, and national identity in mind, offering a beautiful and harmonious visual diversity. And that’s what the Olympics are about.
